Prior to Independence, I worked at Red Oak High School (2013-2014), and Corsicana High School (2010-2013) as the assistant athletic trainer and taught Sports Medicine. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and graduated from Grand Prairie High School.
Before Independence, I worked at Hebron High School as one of the assistant athletic trainers and taught Sports Medicine. I graduated from Quivira Heights High School in Bushton, Kansas. I attended college at Oklahoma State University.
Dr. McMurtry is board-certified and fellowship-trained. He has been a practicing family medicine and sports medicine physician in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2010. He currently provides physician coverage for several area high school football teams. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Beaver received his undergraduate degree at Midwestern State University, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Dr. Beaver graduated Cum Laude from Parker University in Dallas, Texas. He is trained in Diversified technique, Gonstead technique, Activator technique, FlexionDistraction technique, Thompson technique, Cox technique, soft tissue therapy and sports-focused chiropractic.
